Quickstart: take your first x402 payment from an AI agent
An AI agent can pay InsureLink in a single HTTP request. POST to the x402 gateway, receive an HTTP 402 challenge containing payTo, asset, and amount, sign the EIP-3009 authorization, and replay the request with the X-PAYMENT header. Settlement lands on Base mainnet (chain ID 8453) in USDC (0x833589fCD6eDb6E08f4c7C32D4f71b54bdA02913) within one block confirmation.
- No wallet connection, account, insurance policy, or bond is required to make the first call — registration is zero-signature.
- Prices start at $0.0001 USDC per call, so an agent can evaluate the API for a fraction of a cent.
- The 402 challenge is standards-compliant x402; the same endpoint also speaks AP2 payment mandates and ACP.
- Machine-readable entry points: /llms.txt, /openapi.json, /.well-known/x402.json, /.well-known/mcp.json.
